I wrote about this in a short blog post, you can find it here.
In person (and on social) I have seen some beautiful personal libraries. My grandfather had one as well.
My reality is: I have given away hundreds of books to friends and family over the years. Many of the books from my undergrad/graduate days are gone. Most of the books from my professional life, also gone.
My goal for the rest of the time I have in this life on this planet: the curate a library of 150 books that have a deep meaning to me. Books that I read and revisit like an old friend. Books that inspire me today and have played a significant role in who I am. If I happen to read something and it bumps one of the 150, wonderful!
This is a WiP, I will add to it as time goes on. Hopefully you find it valuable. If there is something you believe I should read, please share as a comment.
