to have

“to have, give all to all”

Joy, forgiveness, gratitude, gentleness, peace, love.

These are infinitely abundant, to give away does not imply a loss or a requirement of return to once again be whole. You have more, when you give more.

There is a natural connection, a reciprocity we all are searching for. When we share joy, but for a moment, we both leave that encounter with more than what we started with. That is one of the ways we can separate the real from the unreal.

The unreal has gain and loss and therefore no value. In this sense, there was nothing gained and everything lost.

Think about the story “The Giving Tree”. The tree seemingly gave everything of its physical presence to the boy, which ultimately is nothing. What was everything between the two was love and that knew no time. The tree gave everything that mattered and it was returned.

If we want to live of this world, we must simply do our best to give all with a selfless expectation to have all, as that is our spirit’s true desire and how we are in alignment with what we are intended to be. We will have what is real.

“And the tree was happy.”
